The Function Approach is all about treating the cause, not the source of your pain

What is the difference between traditional mainstream medicine and Function?

Function has a strong base of anatomy, myofascial integration, and assessment base, which is focused on identifying the cause of our member’s body dysfunctional movements. We address all mobility issues and strengthen the weak areas to allow realignment of the body through this.

Therefore our goal is not only to help you achieve your fitness and aesthetic goals but also to live aligned and move pain-free.

According to a study published in Pain Australia, in 2018, 3.24 million Australians were living with chronic pain and the estimated cost of that was 73.2 billion dollars.

Now, what if I told you that correcting those movement patterns and working on the root of the problem may be the answer to helping you reduce the pain or make it go away altogether?

The thing that many people don’t realise is that, where you think your pain is, may not be the root of the problem.

For example, how many people have been told that they have a weak core, weak glutes, tight hammies. Did anyone ask why I have weak glutes/ core or tight hammies?  If someone had stopped asking why, they might have had to investigate and worked out that it might be due to stiff ankles, weak inner thighs, decreased lumbosacral lordosis, rib flaring? The list is extensive. Still, we would need to assess to diagnose.  We have fixed so many people with a simple approach of treating the cause, not the source.

Fewer treatments and better results were our first concept, but seeing we just don't treat and incorporate many more services. We are now more focused on a Move better, Feel better, Look better seems more appropriate.

Everyone goes for the Look better, without Move or Feel better = Breaking your body. Our treatments are very accurate to the point that means we want you in and out quick and happy so you can start the journey on Feel and Look!
